(ENIT is part of the state University of Tunis al-Manar (UTM)
The "National School of Engineers in Tunis" (ENIT), Tunisia, is the oldest school of engineering in the country. The study system is based on the French system; credit points earned at ENIT can be converted into ECTS.
ENIT offers 9 bachelor's degree programmes - all the engineering programmes in Pforzheim have equivalents there. There are also various Master's programmes.
ENIT has excellent international networks with partner universities, including very renowned French institutions, with which ENIT collaborates for several Double Degree Programmes. Since 2017, all ENIT study programmes have been accredited with the EUR-ACE label ("European Accreditation Standard") through the European accreditation agency ASIIN. This certifies that the standard of teaching and research at ENIT meets the European requirements in engineering. The teaching language in the courses is mainly French, i.e. those who go to Tunis for an exchange with ENIT should have a good command of French.
ENIT is a classical full university. At Bachelor's level, there is a strong focus on the fundamentals of engineering. As in all Tunisian schools of engineering, the proportion of women at ENIT is significantly higher than in Germany.
